Pip and paws specializes in purebred Maine Coons. Our Maine Coons are specifically chosen to have strong bone, large size, exception healthy bloodlines, lush coats and exceptional personalities. Kitten will be altered, microchipped, vet checked, dewormed, and vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines. All breeding maine coon cats at our cattery are OFA and HCM tested negative of genetic disorders. Maine Coon Kittens will be microchipped to ensure safe return should your coon get lost outside.

Our Cattery is a CLOSED CATTERY. It is free of disease and genetic disorders. Genetic testing is done to ensure our cats are free of hip dysplasia and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, common to the Maine Coon breed. We keep our cats in a clean, family environment. They are given tons of affection and socialization with other Maine Coons, three dogs, and grandchildren of all ages.
Pricing on Maine Coons usually depends on type, applicable markings and bloodlines distinguished by Grand Champion (GC), National or Regional winning parentage (NW or RW) or of Distinguished Merit parentage (DM). The DM title is achieved by the dam (mother) having produced five CFA grand champion/premier (alter) or DM offspring, or sire (father) having produced fifteen CFA grand champion/premier or DM offspring.
Usually a Maine Coon Breeder will allow Kittens for sale to go to new homes between twelve and sixteen weeks of age. After twelve weeks, kittens have had their basic inoculations and developed the physical and social stability needed for a new environment, showing, or being transported by air. Keeping such a rare treasure indoors, neutering or spaying and providing acceptable surfaces (e.g. scratching posts) for the natural behavior of scratching (CFA disapproves of declawing or tendonectomy surgery) are essential elements for maintaining a healthy, long and joyful life.
